Pricing Information and Sitting Reservations

You may make an appointment to meet with me in the studio to see more of my work and discuss your plans for photography. Sample albums of my work are also displayed at the Chatham Bars Inn, The Captain Linnell House in Orleans, The Wychmere Harbor Club in Harwichport, and the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster.

A deposit is required to reserve a date with a balance due on the day of the shoot for portraits, and week before for weddings.

For most wedding packages: $500
Personal checks, cash and most credit cards are accepted.

How long for finished print orders or albums?
Allow 2-3 weeks for print orders, and 6-8 weeks for album orders from the time you place the order.

Wedding clients are offered a 10% discount on print orders not included in the package if your order is placed within a 30 day deadline of receiving proofs. Turn around time on albums is not guaranteed if you do not meet the deadline.

Reprints may be ordered for many years after the event. Album orders must be placed within one year of the wedding date.

Equipment
Canon EOS 5D and Canon EOS Rebel Xti with Canon auto focus zoom lenses capture high resolution digital images (Large JPG files 4368 x 2912 pixels before editing). The use of natural light is supplemented with Canon speedlite 580 EX dedicated flash.

All imaging is captured in color with some converted to B&W and carefully edited before submission for the best presentation and variety. Original color images are kept on file indefinitely.

Proofing options facilitating the selection process include image CDs (reduced resolution and watermarked), proof booklets, 4x5 prints and 90 day Internet proofing sites. Studio projection sessions are available by appointment.

Style
My photography style is photojournalistic, traditional, creative and non-intrusive. On a wedding day, I work alone and quickly so that your special day is not interrupted. I use natural light whenever possible at a wedding to avoid your day feeling like a movie set with studio lighting all around.

With a family on the beach it can be important to respect the needs of the members by working quickly and not requiring too much "modeling" talent from ordinary folks! I try to keep it fun and easy for everyone, and I remain aware of an often small window of opportunity for desirable expressions in young children and impatient adults.

Wedding Packages
My services are priced in convenient packages designed to make it easy for you to know exactly what is included. They can be customized to include just what you need. Prime Saturdays from May thru October are limited to several top packages, and partial coverage's starting at 1 hour are available on other days. Top quality albums and digital proof booklets are included, as well as many other popular products such as parent albums, causal beach portraits at sunset, and high resolution CD's, DVD slide shows and internet proofing.

Portrait Pricing
Portrait packages vary to accommodate large families desiring many subgroups and individuals, couples or pets on location or in the studio. High school senior portraits are given a choice of studio or beach locations, and popular print packages are available at reasonable rates.

Print Quality
All enlargements are archival quality photographs made in a professional color lab. Ink jet prints are only submitted as proofs. Prints larger than 5x7 are surface lacquered for protection with a UV light inhibitor to avoid fading and mounted to a backboard for protection and ready for framing.

Black and white prints may be made from any image, and sepia toning and selective image color is available for an "arty presentation" of your favorite images. Also, digitally painted images and heavy oil painted backgrounds on canvas mounted prints create a time honored work of art in your home or office.

Digital re-imaging is available to retouch, switch heads or remove distractions.
